Hirunika's body guards identified at parade

It was reported the other day  private security guards of  the UNP Member of Parliament for Colombo district Hirunika Premachandra had forced themselves into a textile shop in Dematagoda and abducted a youth in a defender Jeep vehicle belonging to the Member of Parliament Hirunika Premachandra. In this case altogether eight suspects including private body guards were remanded and then subsequently released.

After they were released an identification parade  was held and it is reported that the persons representing the plaintiff's party had identified all the eight persons who were arrested at the parade.

Afterwards they were produced before the additional Magistrate of Magistrates courts  Mohamed Mihar. He had instructed them to be released on body bails of rupees two lakhs each.
