Two famous Buddhist monks to be arrested soon for involvement in baby elephant rackets
It is reported from the Police Headquarters that two famous Buddhist monks are to arrested in regard to a racket they had been involved in regard to rackets of selling wild baby elephants.
It is reported that the two famous Buddhist monks had been involved over a period of time with a
reputed racketeer businessman by keeping baby elephants that were caught and brought from jungles at the respective famous Buddhist temples and then sold at exorbitant prices.
The police had been able to take into police custody 05 baby elephants kept at the temple premises of one Buddhist Monk without any permits while he police had been able to take into custody one baby elephant from the other Buddhist monk also without a valid permit.
It is reported that both famous Buddhist monks had used influence to curb any action against them using the powers of reputed politicians and the efforts made recently had proved futile it is reported from police headquarters.
