The present Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe and the former President Mahinda Rajapaksa has had a private discussion inside the Prime Ministers office within the parliament yesterday the 04th

This discussion had taken place between the two heavyweights before the debate of the  budget proposals 2016.The points that were discussed had been confidential and not been revealed to the media.This discussion between the Prime Minister and the former President had taken place during the period of the interval after President Maithripala Sirisena made the first speech before the commencement of the debate.

After the lunch break the first speech was allocated to the former President Mahinda Rajapaksa .The deputy speaker had allocated 15 minutes but the speech was completed in 25 minutes.The excess time taken was to be deducted from the other speeches was announced by the deputy speaker. When former President Mahinda Rajapaksa commenced his speech present President Maithripala Sirisena had left the parliament premises.
