Mahinda's new party "Our Sri Lanka Freedom Front"

It is reported from reliable political sources that targeting the forthcoming Municipal , Provincial and Local government elections a new

party led by former President Mahinda Rajapaksa nemed "Our Sri Lanka Freedom Front" is to be planned.

In this connection the four leaders of the parties in the joint opposition Wimal Weerawansa, Dinesh Gunawardena,Vasudeva Nanayakkara and Udaya Gammanpila have consented and have had talks on this matter.

It is reported that as soon as the Local Government, Municipal and Provincial council elections are gazetted they will attend to  all the formalities in this regard.

It is reported that the assistance and support of all former leaders of the Local government bodies and Members of the Provincial and Municipal councils are anticipated for the new party that is to be formed. The political critics are confident that this venture would become a success.
