To check for the "dengue" mosquitoes  health authorities to visit dwelling households from 12th to 15th

Owing to the present climatic conditions with intermittent rain in many parts of the country
there is a  tendency for the 'dengue' mosquitoes to breed easily. In this situation the ministry of  nutrition health and indigenous medicine is to conduct a survey island wide to detect any places where the tendency to breed 'dengue' is high to provide necessary precautionary measures for such areas. In this connection a door to door campaign is to be held between the 12th and the 15th for three days.

In this regard the ministry of health, the national dengue prevention unit and the President's  dengue prevention unit would be joining together in this endeavour. To assist in this exercise the police , the three service units and civil organisations would join together.
