President vouch to abide to the vision envisaged  to the country by the Mosr Ven.Maduluwawe Sobitha thera 

President Maithripala Sirisena issuing a message on the  sad demise of the Most Venerable Maduluwawe Sobitha thera to the public had

reiterated that the efforts initiated by him on a  society free of corruption , bribery  and establishing true  and strong democracy paving the way for a free and just society would be strictly adhered to  in the country. He had reiterated that the decisive advise of the Thera would be continued to be adhered to.

The President in his message had reiterated that  the Most Venerable Thera was instrumental  in for changing the political landscape of the country  and helped  also to revolutionise the politics in the country to bring in good governance concept which would be adhered and preserved. In this contest it is his responsibility to take Sri Lanka to a  economically developed country.
