No answers to give people on swindlers - Hakeem

The Minister of Urban development and Water supply and Leader of the Muslim congress Rauff Hakeen has stated that when people

question on the subject of the promised punishment to those corrupt elements who were classified as swindlers  in the previous regime he has no answer to give them.

The Minister Rauff Hakeem had said this while speaking at the 26th annual sessions of the representatives of the Ceylon Muslim congress held on the 07th instant at the Kandy,Polgolla Mahinda Rajapaksa Rangahala.

While speaking in addition he had said that after the victory of  Maithripala Sirisenain the presidential election on the 08th of January people expected to punish all those who were involved in corrupt,bribery and swindling activities and bring the country on a path for good governance.AS it had not happened  he has no answer to give those who question him on these elements.

He also had said the foreign dignitaries  in the embassies had accepted the fact that swindling of state resources have stopped during the past one year but the country do not appear to have become prosperous as one would expect. In this statement he understands the truth and the huge meaning he had stated. He also had said for one such case an additional cabinet meeting has to be convened.
