Kick out Marapona - demands civil organizations

It is reported that a number of civil organizations have sent letters to the President Maithripala Sirisena and the Prime Minister Ranil

Wickremasinghe to dismiss the Minister of Law and Order Tilak Marapona from his ministerial portfolio and as the elected Member of Parliament posts.

In these letters the members of the civil organizations have highlighted on the stance of the Minister of Law and Order in the Avant Garde incident and his observations conveyed to the house would drastically affect the proposed developments to be made by the government to the country in the next 60 months in accordance with the five precepts they  had proposed to follow.

It is  very clear that attempts had been made by the Minister Tilak Marapona to safeguard his former employer  Nissanka Senadipathi ,the civil organisations had pointed out.In this regard the civil organisations are viewing this issue in a very serious angle they had quoted in the letters they have sent to the President and the Prime Minister.
