Frontline Kumara Gunaratnam arrested by Police for overstaying sans valid visa
Leader of the JVP-splinter group Frontline Socialist Party Premakumar Gunaratnam alias Kumar Mahattaya was arrested at
his ancestral house in Kegalle district ,at Anguruwella ,Ruwanwella by police yesterday.
He was arrested at his mother's house and is to be produced to the Controller of Immigration and Emigration for questioning on the validity of his Sri lanka visa.
Kumara Gunaratnam is an Australian citizen, in the month of September in year 2011 and had entered Sri Lanka with his foreign passport under a name Noel Mudalige and had been deported back to Australia.
