Basil's wife Pushpa to FCID  to question on her organisation

The Police financial fraud investigating unit has summoned the wife of the former Minister of economic affairs Basil Rajapaksa to

question on her Pushpa Rajapaksa foundation on a transaction of rupees thirty five lakhs (Rs 35 lakhs) obtained from the State Mortgage and Investment Bank.

Pushpa Rajapaksa had been questioned that such an amount of money cannot be obtained from a state owned bank like State Mortgage and Investment Bank without the approval of the cabinet.This is why she has been summoned to question by the Police financial fraud investigation unit.
