President's brother introducers outgoing Sri Mobitel to media personnel

The Chairmen of the Sri Lanka Telecom and Mobitel C.G.Sirisena has announced that a concessional package for telephone calls would

be introduced to all media personnel.

This has been added by him while speaking at the opening of the refurbished Telecom office in Matara on the 06th instant. This had been in response to a request made to him by the Matara region media personnel who had made a request from the Chairman of the Sri Lanka Telecom.

In this connection of a  new package will be introduced with the permission of the President Maithripala Sirisena and then in consultation with the Minister of telecommunications services and digital infrastructure development Harin Fernando the new concessional package is to be introduced.

This package would be known as the outgoing Sri package and only those who possess a media identity card would be entitled for this concessional package.
