Four new Ministers to Uva provincial council sworn in 

Four new Ministers were sworn in to the Uva provincial office at the presidential secretariat by

the President  Maithripala Sirisena yesterday morning the 22nd instant in the presence of the Governor of Uva province MP.Jayasinghe.

The ministerial portfolios were for  Uva Province Finance and Planning, Law and Order, electricity and renewable energy,construction and rural infrastructure as Charmara Sampath Dassanayake was sworn in.

As the Minister of health in Uva province ,indigenous medicine,probation, child and women's affairs and social welfare,RM .Kumarasiri Ratnayake was appointed and sworn in..

As the Minister Uva Province  road development,housing, water supply, estate infrastructure and cooperatives, Sendil Thondaman was sworn in.

As the Minister of Uva Province sports, youth affairs, tourism, transport, cultural, handloom and small industries Saliya Sumeda de Silva was sworn in.

All the new ministers were issued with letters of appointment after they were sworn in by the President.
