When a team of police officers of a vice squad of a police station in Western Province raided a brothel, a certain ASP had been found in the company of 2 prostitutes inside a room in that brothel, police sources revealed.

The said Assistant Superintendent of Police was someone who was affiliated to and serving the Deputy IGP's Office. As a consequence of certain irregular incidents against him this Assistant Superintendent of Police has been affiliated to the Office of Deputy Inspector General's Office as an officer who has no duty to perform as such, police sources revealed.

This Assistant Superintendent of Police who was nabbed in the company of prostitutes has pleaded guilty in the presence of the police officers and for that reason he has been let free, police information state.
