Young Woman while bathing falls into Mousakele Reservoir drowns

It is reported that a young woman who ad gone to bath in the Mousakele reservoir had fallen and drowned.

A resident of  Maskeliya Upcot main road near the Amman Kovil 27 year old Ratnawel Gnaneshwari had gone to bath  to Mousakele reservoir at around 8.30 am on the 06th instant and had slipped and fallen into the reservoir and got drowned. This incident had been watched by the neighbours.

The body of Ratnawel Gnaneswari had been recovered by the Police assisted by the neighbours after about an hour. The post mortem is to be held shortly while the police is conducting investigations.
