Famous Tele drama actor and Director Nihal Fernando while travelling to Colombo from

Anuradhapura after completing the wok in the final episode in his latest Tele dram "Kuleththiyo" had suddenly fallen ill.

On his back to Colombo had been admitted to Nawaloka hospital and had been subjected to a by-pass operation.

However after the operation Nihal Fernando has not yet recovered fully.The doctors have said that he needs another operation on him to be made.
