In the 100 days restricted government except for a few in the national UNP government the portfolios of several Ministers were changed. They are appended below with their names and the respective ministerial portfolios entrusted to them.

Tourism Development and Christian religious affairs--John Amaratunga( previously law and order and Christian affairs)

Higher education and Highways-Lakshman Kiriella ( previously Plantation)

Mega Polls and Western province development-Patali Champika Ranawaka ( previously pwer and renewable energy)

Agriculture-Duminda Dissanayake (previously Irrigation)

Wild life -Gamini Jayawickrema Perera ( previously food and preservation)

Plantation- Navin Dissanayake (previously Sports and tourism)

State administration and management- Ranjith Madduma Bandara (previously internal transport)

Rural Economy-P.Harrison (previously social service and welfare)
