The organised gang who rob valuables from those who patronise the BMICH

The Cinnamon gardens police has been able to nab two suspects who have been robbing mobile

phones, laptops and purses from those who come to watch shows at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall and from the Colombo University students.The Cinnamon Garden Police officers have caught them on the 09th instant.

After interrogating them the police had been able to find goods worth eight lakhs of rupees from the suspects.They had among other belongings 12 mobile phones and 02 laptop computers.

One of the suspects is a 26 year old person a resident of Stacepura in Grandpass. At  a recent exhibition held at the MBICH while flicking a hand bag of lady this person had been shown via the CCTV cameras installed. Through the help of the photos therein the police had been able to locate the  two robbers.
