A similar incident which came into the spotlight sometime back on media as 'tele-actress conflict, pulling at each other's hair in salon' was reported last week taking place in Nugegoda.

The crowds thronged to watch some three females fighting among themselves under the flyover at Nugegoda Town where crowds move about in large numbers and the crowd was absolutely surprised to note that the three were very familiar characters because they had seen them on mega teledramas; now engaged in a fight tearing their clothes, without any embarassment whatsoever.

Tele-actress Aksha Sudari who was involved in a lawsuit with an Indian millionaire a few months ago and Piyumi Hansamali had both got together and it was Sashi Hewage who was a model that they had assaulted in Nugegoda in this manner. The reason for this assault according to their opinion is the misunderstanding Piyumi Hansamali has had about Sashi. 

On that occasion Sashi's clothing has been torn apart and she had been assaulted and had even been threatened that acid would be thrown on her, it was later revealed at police investigations. On receiving news that three women are involved in a tussle under the Nugegoda Flyover, police officers who were on duty around Nugegoda rushed to the spot while the Mirihana Women's Bureau had taken steps to remove the actresses from that spot after which an inquiry was commenced at the police.

What they had told the police was that this scuffle took place under the Nugegoda Flyover because of two issues that influenced the lives of both of them and that it was something that was personal. Since the attempt taken by settling the issue that surfaced among them by calling the three of them to the Police Women's Bureau was to no avail, the police finally had resolved to direct the issue to courts.
