DNA examination on Seya Sadewmini murder!

Police officers who conduct investigations on the child Seya Sadewmini who was brutally murdered in Kotadeniyawa, Gampaha have decided to examine the DNA evidence in that connection.

The two strands of hair and the external matter which was found deposited on her body of the person connected to the crime would be made use of in this connection for the examination concerned and only one individual has been questioned in this respect. Apart from this a separate examination is being conducted over the father of the child too. 

It was understood that on the night when this incident took place a certain white-coloured van had been parked close to the deceased's house of which information has been received which has been subjected to inquiry. The police are confident that the murderers would be apprehended soon across the technical evidence made available.

The final rites of the deceased child Seya is expected to be performed this evening under the wailing of everybody in the whole area.
