Prepaid cards for payment of electricity bills arrives

In order to make the supply of electricity to subscribers more attractive with higher quality and efficient a prepaid card system has been introduced by the

Ministry of power and renewable energy.

The minister of power and renewable energy Ranjith Siyambalapitiya has added  that the introduction of the pre[aid card system would make the subscribers to derive pleasure via this exercise.The media unit of the power and renewable energy ministry has been instructed to inform all related authorities in this regard.

It is also learnt that the Minister of power and renewable energy Ranjith Siyabalapitiya intends to commence many more new processes advantageous to subscribers in addition to prepaid card such as introducing the one day service effective, introduction of rights and responsibilities, about breakdown services, educating the subscribers on the system of charges by unit slabs and on several other beneficiary factors to the subscribers, the media unit of the ministry had been notified.
