Isuru Chief Minister of WPC while Dharmasiri is the Chief Minister of Wayamba 

Isuru Devapriya has been appointed as the Chief Minister of the Western Provincial council while Dharmasiri Dasanayake has been appointed as the Chief Minister of the

Wayamba provincial council.

In the recent general election the Chief Minister of Western province Prasanna Ranatunga and the Chief Minister of Wayamba provincial council  Dyasiri Jayasekara had contested and won seats in the present parliament and hence these two vacancies existed and had to appoint new Chief Ministers.

Harin Fernando the Chief Minister of Uva province also contested in the recent general election and was elected to parliament but his vacancy has not yet been filled.
