Full leasing not permitted since mid night of yesterday
From mid night yesterday the 14th instant the authorities of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka has instructed to stop offering leasing facilities up to 100 % of the market value of any vehicle.
In this contest the maximum amount of the leasing facility has been reduced only up to 70% of the market value of the vehicle. In this regard all Banks and financial institutions have been advised to act accordingly. As a result no one would be able to obtain the 100% leasing facility hereafter.
