Champika assumes duties with a vouch how to make Western

Champika Ranawaka assumes work as Minister saying he would make Western Province a Mega city:

Patali Champika Ranawaka was appointed Minister with the portfolio mega polls and development of western province development Minister. He had commenced work in the new ministry saying that over the past several

government had made promises about developing the western province.

Although several types of strategies were adopted the new strategies headed by him would commence from now on after he was elected and handed over this portfolio. This Ministry had made ploys  earlier had attempted for urban development activities, filling of low lying areas and beautification of the city. But after his taking over will make the western province a mega city under his guidance from day one.

He had added that are over a number of one hundred thousand shanties, who would be provided with comfortable dwelling houses which would be made in three phases. He would also make every endeavour to give houses to those living on rent and find solutions for traffic congestions.He also promised to bring about a solution for the garbage disposal issues.
