The case against former president and governor Central Bank withdrawn

For investing the proceeds of treasury bonds in the stock market and also the funds lying in the funds of the employees provident fund also in the stock market a case had been filed against the

former president Mahinda Rajapakasa and the Governor the Central Bank of Sri Lanka Ajit Nivarrd Cabral for making loses to the country's economy and peoples money.

The case which was to be held today the 27th instant at the Colombo Magistrate's courts had been thrown away as the plaintiff had withdrawn the case he had filed.

Another case filed at the Bribery and Corruption investigation unit too against the former President Mahinda Rajapaksa and the governor of the Central  Bank of Sri Lanka had been withdrawn by the plaintiff.
