Sanga bids adieu to Test cricket after his last inning at P Sara Stadium

In the second innings in the second Test on the fourth day in the third session of play against India at the P.Sara Stadium Kumar Sangakkara bid adieu to Test cricket after his dismissal for 18 runs.
After bidding adieu, cricket fans would not be able to see him bat in the International arena again after his illustrious career.

Sangakkara was caught by close in fielder Murali Wijaya off Ravichandran Ashwin for 18 runs compiled in 18 balls.

The Indians set Sri Lanka a stiff task of scoring 413 runs for victory. At close of play on the fourth day Sri Lanka had lost 2 wickets for 45 runs off 11 overs.The other batsman dismissed apart from Kumar Sangakkara was opener Kaushal Silva.

Unbeaten at the wicket were Dimuth Karunaratne and Angelo Mathews on 10 and 05 runs respectively. Sri Lanka has an uphill task of saving this Test on the final fifth day.
