Rookantha on UNP stage

Famous singer Rookanatha Gunatilleke had stepped on to the United National front stage in Mawanella  and sung songs in support of the victory of the party the day before yesterday the 2nd instant.

He had sung a very old song which he had sung a long time ago titled "Ethin Hadamu Aluth Ratak Hada Bendi Ekama Sithin".This song was sung by him after the leader of the party and the Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe had completed his speech.

Along with singer Rookantha Gunatilleke his wife also equally famous singer Chandralekha Perera was also present at the occasion. Professor Maithree Wickremasinghe the wife of the Prime Minister was also present on stage in support of the party. 

This rally was organised by the General Secretary of the United National Party  and the Minister of highways and investment promotion Kabeer Hashim .
