Ranil refuses to shake hands with Mahinda ( Video)

On the 21st instant all arrangements were made to have the swearing in ceremony of the Prime

Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe at the Presidential secretary .The former President Mahinda Rajapaksa had accepted his invitation had come a bit late and sat on the seat allocated to him.

When all the invitees had taken their respective seats Ranil Wickremasinghe had walked towards the clergy to worship and welcome them.

On his way he had to pass the seat where former President Mahinda Rajapaksa was seated when Ranil Wickremasinghe passed him he abruptly got up and stretched his had to shake hands. At that moment Ranil Wickremasinghe did not accept his wish but went past him to worship the Buddhist and other clergy to welcome them via worshipping.

However returning back he shook hands with Mahinda Rajapaksa. Some who were looking on were of the opinion that he refused to shake hands  at the initial moment.
