newspapers under the caption 'Anaagathayata sahathikayak -- Maithri paalanayak'.

Opinions were expressed about President Maithripala Sirisena for having mentioned negative ideas denouncing former President Mahinda Rajapaksa the former for saying that he would not even step onto a stage; but on the alternative President Maithripala Sirisena has been featured for a commercial advertisement in this background. It is however not reported whether this has been done with his knowledge or not. Though the position of chairman is being held by Maithripala Sirisena in a background where several Ministers had resigned on their own criticising his principles and had further rocked round Mahinda, it is indeed an astounding matter to note that he has been made use of for gainful election propaganda purposes.

Whatever it is, what former President had remarked at a news briefing held yesterday (9) perhaps following on the same track of this opinion was that if he would assume the position of Prime Minister he is able to maintain cordial relationships with President Maithri.
