President inquires from Sanga whether he would accept the post of High Commissioner in UK 

When the President Maithripala Sirisena met Kumar Sangakkara to bid farewell to him at the P Sara stadium today to bid farewell he had asked if he wished to accept the post of High Commissioner in Britain.

At a press conference later  a media reporter had questioned him as to what reply was given to the President by him in this regard.

His reply was that offer made me astonished. He was thinking whether to accept it or not. But this issue he wanted to discuss with President Maithripala Sirisena was his answer.
