Owing to inclement weather elections results may get a bit delayed

It is reported that during the last few hours of the voting at some centres owing to inclement weather the election concluding work may have been hindered at certain polling stations.

At the same time in certain areas as the roads have been inundated the transport of ballot boxes to the related counting centres have got slightly delayed. Hence a small delay is anticipated in issuing the results at certain counting centres.

This was revealed by the elections commissioner at a media briefing held in the evening. However even inspire of this reason his staff would make every endeavour to release the results without much delay
