Maithri steps on to Anuradhapura UPFA stage on the sly

President Maithripala Sirisena had made a firm statement that for this forthcoming general

election that he would remain neutral and would not speak on any stage.

The President  had yesterday attended a meeting  of the United Peoples Freedom Alliance organised by Minister Duminda Dissanayake at Anuradhapura. After the meeting Maithripala Sirisena had got on to the stage and had saluted the people and had slipped away without participating  or speaking on that stage in the meeting, but by it, it had shown that he was with Duminda Dissanayake.

Further when the first inaugural meeting of the UPFA with the former President Mahinda Rajapakasa Minister Duminda Dissanayake had not attended. Hence it is obvious from these incidents that the United Peoples Freedom Alliance is having two factions.
