If the Bribery and corruption investigation    unit is not made  streamlined and active we will ridicule - Ranjan

The Minister Ranjan Ramanayake has accused that the work within the Bribery and corruption unit is very slow and works at snails pace and the work as a whole is  highly inactive and if this  is not

dissolved and an active group of members are appointed he would initiate to commence a huge protest some thing similar to a fast on to death.

A group of members of Parliament of the United national party have discussed this issue and are planning to make drastic changes. They say that after payment of high salaries and other benefits they are dormant and not moving the cases on hand. It is suggested that the investigation unit is dissolved and an efficient unit is deployed to handle all complaints already made.
