It is learnt that at the next month’s sessions of the Human rights commission summit to be held in Geneva Officials of the American Human rights council have already decided to make a proposal to take the side and favour Sri Lanka at this summit.

This reliable information has been revealed by the Assistant state secretary of the Human Rights commission to south Asia Nisha Biswal to the media during her two day visit to Sri Lanka.

The Assistant American state secretary of the Human rights commission to the south Asian region Nisha Biswal had promised that a report under a Sri Lankan mechanism would be prepared and presented at the proposed summit.She had promised this to the President Maithripala Sirisena when she met him.

She also expects Sri Lanka to prepare this report in accordance with the enactment of the American Human rights commission.
