WAS MAHINDA INVOLVED IN A FRAY LAST AFTERNOON ....

The video of a queer incident has become popular over the internet of an instance when
former President Mahinda Rajapaksa came over to address a rally near Akuressa Old Bus-halt last afternoon.

What is seen there is a scene where when he was walking amidst the crowd, a certain person who had come to attend the meeting had tried to hold his hand and that the former President happened to change his countenance and had got ready for an attack with his fist clenched. It is also seen there how three security guards push the former President to a side and takes him away. Those viewing the video get the impression that Mahinda was getting ready for a contention of some sort.

It is not clear as to what this incident exactly is and the former President neither exposed about it in his speech either. What media co-ordinating officer of former President Rohan Weliwita said was that at a moment when a drunk person was trying to hold Mahinda he had pushed aside the man and had walked away.
