Vehicles for election campaign to be limited for Minsters and MP’s - EC

Although it was stated that for the election propaganda campaign for a vehicle used a sum

of rupees one hundred thousand needs to be paid to the related secretary of the ministry.

The elections commissioner has issued a directive on the number of vehicles that a Minister or a Member of Parliament could obtain even after payment of this fee. The maximum a Minister could obtain are three vehicles and for his coordinator one vehicle. The elections commissioner had informed all secretaries of the parties in this regard.
