Hirunika Premachandra, PC member of Western Province who entered into marriage recently has spoken further details about her married life with a radio channel. She had talked about how she met her lover and about the rumours to the Neth Channel in this manner:

                                                            "There's a talk recently that I got quickly married because I am pregnant. So if I got friendly in 3 months .... it can be seen whether I have a child in six seven months. I won't do anything for anybody to reply. It was when I went to see Derana Miss Sri Lanka that I met Hiran. He was seated in front of me. It was only as friends that we spoke that day. By that time he had a girl. But at a later date I met him at a party. I was told that by that time his attachment had finished. That day we spoke a little longer. That's how our attachment started. Hiran is my third lover. What I searched for is a person who would look after me as my father. Hiran is a little older than me. 10 years old. He's someone who keeps his foot on the earth. That's the way he lives. He proposed to me first .... I consented.

This connection was kept a secret because he did the Mangalam Programme in Hiru. We thought that it would be a problem if it comes to be known that we have got attached. Now that contract is over ... he has now left that place.

I am very happy about our marriage. I am hoping to have 5 children from the marriage".
