In the fifth and final One Day International between the touring Pakistan team and Sri Lanka
played as a day and night encounter at the Mahinda Rajapaksa International cricket stadium in Suriyawewa, Hambantota,Sri Lanka the host team cruised to a very comfortable165 run victory to bridge the winning gap to 3-2 in favour of the tourists who made a clean sweep of both the Test and One day series' almost after a decade.

Sri Lanka made three changes to their last team leaving out Lasith Malinga,Sachith Pathirana and injured Nuwan Pradeep and brought in all-rounder Thisara Perera, paceman Gamage and spinner Sachithra Senanayake.

Sri Lanka having won the toss scored a mammoth 368 for the loss of only 04 wickets in the allotted 50 overs.Kusal Janith Perera scored his second one day century, while Tillekeratne Dilshan, Angelow Mathews, Dinesh Chandimal ,Milinda Siriwardena made useful contributions.

Pakistan is reply were folded up for just 203 runs in just 37.2 overs.Sachithra Senanayake was the most successful bowler capturing three wickers.

Kusal Janish Perera for his 116 run knock made in less than run a ball inning was named the 'Man of the match'.
