Shell Gas to be brought back instead of Litro

As known to everyone, owing to an issue of prices of the Shell gas during the era of the

Mahinda Rajapaksa government ‘Litro’ gas was introduced. This opportunity was gained by the Litro gas Company.

However it is learnt that the opportunity is to come back to Shell gas. When tenders were called for the supply of domestic ‘gas’ 34 companies had sent bids. But it s learnt that it the Shell company had been successful as the bidder to supply domestic gas.

It is learnt through reliable sources that the Shell Company has the backing of a powerful politician of the present government and hence there is  a strong possibility that the domestic shell gas would be given to supply domestic gas for consumers in the country.

The two most common importers are litro and laugh gas and it is learnt that in the event shell gas comes in it will be at the expense of litro gas.
