          PROTEST AGAINST JUDGE De ABREW 

It is reported that there kad been a protest near the courts complex at Aluthkade organized by a team of  a women’s organization forcing to take the supreme courts Judge Sarath De Abrew  in to custody who is accused for assaulting his house maid nercilessly.

As reported, this organization by the name of domestic labours union, is forcing to stop his foreign trips and to do the justice for the lady domestic worker.

It was reported that the Supreme Court Judge Sarath De Abrew has reported to courts No. 404 while the protest against him was going on.   

Meantime, Bar Association of Sri Lanka, the BASL has also made a request to the Chief justice not to include Sarath De Abrew for any bench of the justice panel .The authorities of the BASL earlier had made a request for Justice De Abrew  to resign from his
