BRIDEGROOM, A FASHION DESIGNER AND AMATEUR ACTOR

Hirunika Premachandra will be entering into marriage tomorrow July 6th. The bridegroom taking her hand in marriage is Hiran Yatowita, a modelling and dance artiste, it is understood.

Hirunika who is hoping to contest for the forthcoming General Election has decided to enter into matrimony before that and as such tomorrow the 6th her marriage registration will take place. She has made preparations to conduct the function by limiting it to only a few in the family as a private occasion, it was learned. The public marriage celebrations party of the two of them is expected to be held at a future date. It was also understood that she would be engaging in a special activity of charity today (5) in order to get blessings from her religion as a Buddhist on behalf of her wedding.

Informed sources say that the love affair between Hirunika and Hiran had started about 4 months ago and that she has hurried up this marriage. Hirunika had revealed that she had started her love affair for the first time last March 24th in her Facebook Account and after 2 days subsequent to Gossip Lanka publishing it she had made an announcement to the effect that it was a joke she had played and that there is no such connection. However, the attachment between she and Hiran has been going on even by that time.

Hiran Yatowita is someone who has carved a name for himself as a fashion designer for about 5 years. He has also participated as a dance artiste and contributed for some creations. Among those are the tele-drama 'Visula ahasa yata' and the film 'Sihina lovak soya' of Roy de Silva which was screened in America. He is also studying the subject of dancing under Dharmasiri Bandaranayaka.

Hirunika who is aspiring to enter into politics as a member of parliament in the future has decided to change her 'title' of Miss to Mrs. before that. Hirunika who has inserted a message hinting at her wedding this morning in her Facebook Page has focused attention on a photograph showing her hands and that of her bridegroom making a note saying "It's only a few hours more for me to become Mrs."
