IT IS NOT TRUE THAT I AM GOING TO CROSS OVER TO UNP, I AM MORE SUITABLE THAN RANIL FOR THE P M POSITION - ARUNDIKA

It is reported that the UFPA parliamentarian from Puttalam
district Arundika Fernando has refuted the news item published in today’s  “Mawbima” paper..The news contained in the speech of the minister Lakshman Kiriella, nominating him as a person who is supposed to be crossing over to UNP. 

His statement on that is as below.

“I do not expect to join UNP.  We were asked to join the government before the election, promising thousands of money.  We refused it.  Even very recently they tried to give us ministerial positions.  I am more suitable than Ranil Wickremasinghe to be the Prime Minister. If there is such opportunity, could give it a try.”
