The former opposition leader Nimal Siripala de Silva says that he
will do any sacrifice to protect the party and he was with the decision of leaving the politics if Mahinda’s and Maithri’s teams were not presented in one list.
He stated this at a meeting in Badulla. He further said that though people say this and that about he did not get the Prime Minister position, he is not going after positions and in the recent past he was not on any of these issues on his mind.
