Foreigner who stabbed women at Pizza Hut shot by cop

FOREIGNER WHO CAME TO HAVELOCK PIZZA HUT ....  CHOPS 3 PHOTO GIRLS WITH MACHETE

After a commotion that flared up at a Pizza Hut restaurant close to a weaving mill down Havelock Road in front of the roundabout there, 3 women and a foreign national with gun shot injuries had to be hospitalised.

Adjoining the said restaurant is Jonathan's Studio and 3 female workers there had come in the evening and were having their meals when all of a sudden a foreigner who barged in there having come there on a motor cycle had begun to attack the 3 girls with a machete concealed in his person. Just at that moment a police officer from the police guard room which happened to be in close proximity had been vigilant and therefore had noticed this scene and had rushed there to prevent the attack. At that moment the foreigner with the machete in hand had tried to attack the police officer as well. The officer who made use of the weapon in his hand promptly had shot this person and when he had fallen down had taken him into custody. Several blood stains were noticeable here and there in the pizza hut restaurant after the incident and large crowds had thronged the place to witness this happening. The 3 women who were subjected to attack as well as the person who brought the machete being injured had to be admitted to hospital.

The police officers who inquired into this incident were later able to unravel the cause for all this as a conflict that had taken place in an office. Apart from these 3 ladies the Lebanese who had come to attack them had been employed at Jonathan's Studio which stood near the said restaurant. A problem concerning finances had cropped up there at the workplace and because he was found guilty the administration of the establishment had taken steps to discontinue his services. As this foreign national had suspected that it was the evidence provided by these women that led to his dismissal that he had left his job yesterday but with a revenge in his mind. 

Thus, waiting for the time that they were to come out, this foreigner with such a brutal heart had taken action in this manner. This foreign national who is presently in hospital under police custody is expected to be produced before courts for the offence of assaulting and attempting an offence against life. The police are conducting further inquiries.
