A minor staff member of Army nabbed for taking pictures of the stage in Kandy on which Ranil was to speak

An unauthorised person who had been taking a number of photographs at various angles on the stage where the Prime Minister
Ranil Wickremasinghe was to speak in Kandy, on suspicion had been questioned by Police when he was nabbed.

The Police had questioned him to find about him and had found that he was a person attached to the Sri Lanka Army as an office assistant. He had been further questioned in order to ascertain as to why he had been taken the photographs of the stage from various angles. The Police had suspected whether this had been done with some motive to harm Prime Minister which is to be confirmed.
