Shirani’s son Shavin to politics?

The other day the son of former Chief Justice Shirani Bandaranayke, Shavin Bandaranayake Kariyawasam became rather famous via the Face Book having

commented on a statement made by the Member of Parliament Namal Rajapaksa.

It is learnt through a newspaper article in today’s Mawbima newspaper that there is an intention of him to take to politics soon.

While in the discussion Shavin Bandaranayake Kariyawasam although had not openly stated about his entering politics but had given a small clue to his intention.This has been stated as the political background in our country would be changed with time and many prospective persons have shown their intentions to enter active politics.

Shavin had disclosed to the Mawbima newspaper that persons of his calibre would not like to enter the politics of the current era. However as there is a positive tendency that the political pattern would change in time to come.. Hence several persons like Shavin would enter politics with a view to see theer parliament, he had quipped.
