DV Upul remanded until 10th

The other day at a SLFP rally in Tissamaharamaya, provincial

council Member of southern provincial council D.V.Upul while speaking on stage had said that under a Mahinda Rajapaksa government he will stone and kill all officers of the Financial crimes investigation unit from top to bottom.For these remarks he was summoned to the criminal investigations unit yesterday and was arrested.

The same evening on the 08th instant he had been produced to the Chief Magistrate courts where the Chief Magistrate Roshan Pilapitiya had ordered him to be remanded until the 10th of this month.
