Chandra Ekanayake sworn in as Acting Chief Justice as Sri Pawan goes abroad

On account of the Chief Justice Sri Pawan’s absence as he was travelling overseas Supreme Court

Judge Chandra Ekanayake has been sworn in by the President Maithripala Sirisena to be the acting Chief Justice until he returns.

Chandra Ekanayake has been a Supreme Court Judged from the year 2008.She had passed out as an Attorney at Law in the year 1974 and had joined the Sri Lanka Judiciary service in the year 1979.
