Basil leaves hospital cured one week after been bailed out

The former Minister of economic development Basil Rajapaksa
who was remanded had remained taking treatment from the General hospital for an ailment. After he was bailed out he had enter ed a private hospital for further treatment. However he had been discharged after one week and returned back home.

Just after the presidential election former Minister had left Sri Lanka to the United States of America and returned to the country after mid April.

Upon arrival he had been questioned by the police financial frauds investigating unit. When misappropriation of funds from the Divineguma account was perused he was found to be suspicious and was ordered to be remanded. He had been in remand for a period of one and a half months.
It is reported that after leaving the private hospital he had gone to meet the former president Mahinda Rajapaksa.
