A Thero has sent obscene photos to the mobile phone of Sports Minister

Some obscene photos had been sent to the mobile

phone of the Minister of Sports,Navin Dissanayke.On suspicion a thero had been taken into custody by the Kollupitiya police. He had been produced before the Fort Magistrate. The Thero had accepted that the offence had been made by him.Then the  Fort Magistrate Priyantha Liyanage had fined the Thero a sum of rupees two thousand and released him.

The Thero is a resident in  a  popular temple in Kirulapone area is a native thero from Ampara.

On receipt of the obscene photos to the phone, the Minister of Sports Navin Dissanayake had lodged a complaint in the Kollupitiya police station. The police personnel had been able to locate the suspect and the mobile phone, then produced the Thero before the Fort Magistrate.After the Thero had admitted that he was the person who committed the offence he had been fined and released.

Sub Inspector of Police Damith Perera of the Kollupitiya police had arrested the Thero and produced before the Fort Magistrate.
