Younger Sister of late prelate discloses his insight 

The Mahanayake brother thera had been very a very pious person from his younger days. He had

offered flowers to Lord Buddha with their father. He was a very silent character from his small days even before he was ordained. She also had said that he despite his position never helped them in their lives.

The younger sister 66 years old a retired teacher by profession recollected their younger days. Udugama Rathanapala Mahanayake thera was our ‘Loku Apachchi’. The late Mahanayake thera had gone to him to get ordained. He has had a tremendous respect for him. He had kept aside his education and followed  ‘Loku Apachchi’.

Even when the late prelate fell ill he never bothered to inform them He always used to say life is not permanent, no one will live forever.
